Official Coolum Beach Website – www.coolum.com.au
The original and the largest portal in the Coolum Beach region. This site helped put Coolum on the map. It features local accommodation, a calendar of events, daily surf reports, business listings for all local businesses and now even has it’s own monthly TV update in the form of Coolum TV!
Originally built back in 2001 – it was designed to be a database driven site from the outset which made it a lot easier to manage the number of listings it contained. In recent years the site has undergone a facelift and many new features such a online flipbook magazines, coupons, events calendar and integration to third-party booking systems.
Watch this space as Coolum.com.au is going to be re-designed soon to incorporate its new logo and making the site easier to use in the process.

Ian Johnson is a Director of OJ Networks. He has been working in IT since 1995. Mentored by the best, Ian started as Technical Support Officer for an innovative dialup ISP in Brisbane “Hub Communications”. He progressed to become a Web Design and Programmer in ASP, ASP.NET and PHP during his time at “The Lab Development Group” with David Vandenberg amonst others. Ian has been working as a Consultant on the Sunshine Coast since 2001 and became a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) Server Administrator in 2010 after which he formed OJ Networks.
